Terminal Guidance
A downloadable game for Windows
Terminal Guidance is the final project made by myself and Will Schieffer for IMGD 3000: Technical Game Development at WPI. The goal of the class was to create a game engine called Dragonfly from scratch with C++. The engine renders ASCII graphics, supports loading sprite and sound asset files, and we used it to create this final project.
With a missile silo as your main weapon, use your mouse to guide missiles around obstacles and destroy the yellow alien core! Aim well, because you get a limited number of missiles. Can you blow up the alien core before it charges up its laser blast and destroys you?
FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING: The trailer contains flashing lights at 1:03, and the game itself contains flashing lights which occur when you lose a level, either by running out of missiles or running out of time.
